Undergraduate
Students can use the rich resources of Rush Rhees Library.
The Humanities Center regards undergraduates as an essential part of its community of scholars. It welcomes all students to attend its public lectures, Humanities Project events, Distinguished Visiting Humanist programs, and Ferrari Symposia. It also supports undergraduate research with the Meliora Scholars program.
The undergraduate curriculum at the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ offers students an array of majors, minors, and clusters in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. Most courses are open to any interested student, and few have prerequisites. A grant of $1 million awarded in the spring of 2017 to the School of Arts and Sciences is helping to fund new Meliora seminars for first-year students, which the Humanities Center is supporting.
