Study and Work Abroad

: Fulbright fellowships are funded by the US Department of State and fund scholarly research or English teaching assistantships all over the world. Anthropology majors have been awarded Fulbright fellowships to Peru, Bangladesh, Russia, Nepal, and elsewhere.
: CLS is a fully funded summer program of intensive language study and cultural immersion abroad, covering 15 languages: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish and Urdu. Anthropology students (majors and minors) have won the CLS for study of Arabic, Chinese, Indonesian, Russian, Swahili and Turkish.
