Daniel Spitaliere

Daniel Spitaliere is a Production Manager, Sound Designer, and Audio Engineer who has spent his professional career at the intersection of Theater and Education. Graduating from the State University of New York at Fredonia with Bachelors’ degrees in Social Studies Adolescent Education and Theater, and a Masters degree from the City College of New York in International Relations, Daniel would go on to teach Middle and High School history while running sound for Off-Broadway shows at night. Eventually committing himself full time to theater, Daniel would engineer sound for award winning productions at Playwrights Horizons, and design sound for a myriad of new plays and new play festivals throughout New York City, including Inappropriate Relationship for Longview Theater Co., The Marathon of One Act Plays at Ensemble Studio Theatre, and the showcase of women playwrights The Radioactive Festival presented by The Radium Girls.

Daniel would finally pull both of his professional worlds together, first by teaching and designing at Santa Rosa Junior College’s Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa, California, next as the Production Supervisor for the New York University studio Playwrights Downtown, and most recently here at the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳. Daniel has truly found his professional home at the frontlines of tomorrow’s art and culture and loves supporting the next generation of theater professionals.
