Where is home/where did you grow up?

I grew up in Baltimore, MD, but also spent many years living in the Philadelphia area.

Why did you choose chemistry as a career?

I chose chemistry because I love the challenges and problem-solving aspects that come along with research, the opportunity to collaborate with others, and that every day at work can be fast paced and unique.

Proudest accomplishment while at the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳?

My proudest accomplishment has been the friends and connections I have made while at the UofR.

What do you like to do when not in the department?

I enjoy running, being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

A 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ must?

The lilac festival in May, or Letchworth in the summer.

Feast/meal of the times? Details, please!

Not a meal, but I love coffee. My favorite places in 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ to try new drinks are boulder café and finger lakes roasters.

A holiday that rocks? Care to tell us why?

My favorite holiday is New Years. I love the celebrations that occur and the sense of a fresh start. Plus, it is my anniversary with my partner.

Care to share about a special tradition in your family/town/country?

My favorite family tradition is getting together on Christmas eve, and my grandpop dresses up like santa for all my younger cousins.

A fun fact about me is that I played soccer in undergrad.
