Why did you choose the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳?
I chose 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ for its flexible academic program, which was a great decision because it was only in my junior year that I decided to turn my Business minor into a BS degree. There are very few schools where you can do that and still graduate on time.
Why did you choose to major in business?
Over the course of my first few years in college, I became interested in analytics. The business analytics track at the Simon school allows me to develop technical skills along with business skills, which is why I decided to major in business.
What has been your favorite undergraduate business course and why?
My favorite undergraduate business course is CIS 191: Introduction to Programming and Business Analytics with Python. I had no experience with Python but this class is incredibly novice-friendly and teaches a lot of real-life applications of Python in a business context.
What are your activities outside of class?
I work as a Research Assistant for the Department of Political Science and as a Speaking Fellow at WSAP.
Have you completed any internships?
I worked as a strategy intern at Feedback Labs, a non-profit based in Washington D.C. after my sophomore year and I will be joining Edgeworth Economics as an economic consultant intern this summer.
What are your career goals?
I would like to work in management or economic consulting after I graduate before getting an MBA and transitioning to a strategy position at a tech firm.
What is your favorite spot on campus? Carlson Library
Starbucks order: An iced mocha
Favorite 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ restaurant: An Italian place called Bella Pasta
What is one positive thing that has come from the pandemic for you? I've connected a lot more with my family through birthday zoom calls since we couldn't be together!
