Meet the Director

Director of the Institute for Performing Arts, Missy Pfohl Smith, is also the and founder and artistic director of , a contemporary repertory dance company based in 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳. A collaborative artist, educator, performer and choreographer, Missy enjoys creating site specific work that has been called "gorgeous... astonishing… exceptional” and “an absolute masterpiece." On-stage intimacy work has become a pillar of the theater industry, and it’s becoming a more integral part of performances by the International Theatre Program at the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳.
