Set in 1969, the script follows a road trip taken by two brothers - the younger drafted into the Polish army and sent to serve in the submarine section of the Navy, and the older trying to prepare him for the rough life ahead. While they head for the Polish coast— a journey across Poland lasting several days — they meet old friends and make new acquaintances. The result is a tragicomic story set in the reality of the People's Republic of Poland, accompanied by an eclectic sixties soundtrack and even a live rendition of „House of the Rising Sun.” It is a beautiful film, with great cinematography, excellent editing, coloring, and music.

Following the screening: Closing of the Festival. Reception at the Little Café.
