Sarah Henry Wins NSF Graduate Research Fellowship
Sarah Henry has been awarded the 2018 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship.
Congratulations Sarah! Sarah is a 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ PhD student, working as a research assistant with Professor Kevin McFarland in the high energy physics group. She is finishing up her second year with the department of physics and astronomy and also holds the position of VP of Outreach on our physics and astronomy student association (PASSAGE) e-board.
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees. Sarah's selection for the NSF Fellowship was based on demonstrated potential to contribute to strengthening the vitality of the US science and engineering enterprise.
